Kate Stewart did it again and I am not okay. Birds of a Feather is the kind of book that cracks you open and puts you back together differently. Tyler and Larissa’s story is painfully, beautifully broken — two people carrying so much life, so many confessions, so much hurt, learning to find themselves and each other at the same time. But Y’ALL the scenes between Tyler and Sean😭Heartbreaking and beautiful in a way I genuinely was not prepared for.
This book is packed with everything that matters — what love really looks like, what’s truly valuable, what it means to heal.
Did I cry? Not like previous books. Did I feel every single word in my soul? 1000 times yes. But I know…KNOW the audio will eviscerate me!
Kate Stewart, you genius. That ending — those last lines are living in my head rent free. FUCK ANTONY — I need Exalt NOW!🖤
Across the Vanishing Sky pulled me straight into the heart of Starlight Grove and never loosened its grip. Dex Archer is the ultimate broody protector, a man carved from shadows and silence, and watching him slowly open himself to Brae and her son was everything. Brae’s determination to uncover the truth about her missing friend added this constant undercurrent of tension that kept me glued to my headphones. And the twists… WOW. Just when I thought I knew who to trust, the story flipped everything upside down. It’s always the nice ones, and that realization hit like a lightning strike. Dex and Brae’s HEA felt hard-won and completely satisfying, and I am already emotionally invested in every single Archer brother.
The narration elevated this story to another level entirely. Samantha Brentmoor gave Brae so much heart and vulnerability, while Jason Clarke, Connor Crais, Sebastian York, Teddy Hamilton, and Adam Gold brought the Archer brothers to life with distinct depth and intensity. Every voice fit perfectly, making the emotional moments hit harder and the suspense feel razor sharp. This audiobook wasn’t just a listen, it was an experience. I’m officially obsessed with this series, and based on what we’ve seen so far, I have a feeling Orion’s story is going to absolutely destroy me…hopefully in the best way. 🥺🎧✨
This was the perfect conclusion to Rafa and Guinevere’s story — dark, emotional, and utterly consuming. I wasn’t sure how Giana Darling was going to wrap up their tangled, dangerous love, but she did it in a way that felt raw and real. It’s not an easy story — it’s brutal at times, layered with family secrets, revenge, and choices that blur every line between love and control. But through all of it, Rafa and Vera’s connection never loses its pull.
Dane Anderson and CJ Bloom brought every ounce of that tension and heartbreak to life. Dane’s deep, commanding tone is Raffaele Romano — you can hear the danger in every word, but also that thread of devotion he can’t quite hide. And CJ Bloom perfectly captures Vera’s emotional journey — the strength in her fear, the courage in her heartbreak. Together, they made this audiobook addictive in the best way.
By the time it ended, I felt wrung out but satisfied. It’s dark, yes — but it’s also a story about surviving what was meant to break you and finding your version of “ever after,” even if it doesn’t look like anyone else’s.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Dark, passionate, and beautifully narrated. A powerful ending for one of Giana Darling’s most haunting couples.
I love a good mafia romance, and Bad Bishop delivers everything I crave—dark power struggles, dangerous chemistry, and a hero who’s as ruthless as he is unexpectedly soft.
Tiernan Callaghan is like a burnt marshmallow—all tough and crusty on the outside but gooey in the middle. He’s the head of the Irish mob, cold and calculated, but when it comes to Lila—the Camorra princess with a heartbreaking past—he’ll burn the world to protect her.
This book is dark and emotional, full of secrets, trauma, and revenge, but also flashes of vulnerability that hit hard. Both Tiernan and Lila have been through hell, yet somehow they find a way to love and heal in a world that doesn’t make room for either.
The audiobook is absolute perfection. Lucy Rivers brings so much heart and emotion to Lila, while Corvin King’s delicious Irish accent makes Tiernan even more addictive. 🫠 Together, they pull you straight into the grit and passion of this world—I couldn’t stop listening.🖤🔥
This one kept me guessing from start to finish. It’s packed with twists and surprises—some happy, some necessary, and a few total “wait, what just happened?” moments.
I won’t spoil anything (you’ll thank me later), but Kye’s sweet side completely melted me. His heart is every bit as beautiful as his ink. 💙
Stella Hunter and Connor Crais delivered everything—the emotion, the tension, the chemistry. Every word felt alive.
Sometimes love isn’t just a refuge… it’s the most dangerous secret of all. ❤️🔥
🎧 Favorite Lines:
✨ “You drew me?” Kye’s gaze didn’t stray from mine as his thumb circled my nipple again. “Sparrow, I have six boxes of notebooks full of you and you alone in the attic.”
😂 “I’ve never been especially fond of mornings.” — a much-needed laugh after that brutal chapter 51!
😭 “Fuck, my eyes are leaking,” Cope mumbled. — mine too, Cope. Mine too.
Whew… Sierra really gave us 17+ hours of heat, secrets, and sinful storytelling in Bitter Burn and I savored every second. I love how she always blends faith and intimacy into something that feels just a little bit wicked 😈— and this book might be her most deliciously deviant yet.🥵
Tristan (Oscar Reyes), Isolde (Isabelle Ruther), and Daddy (yes, Jacob Morgan as Mark — swoon) kept me hooked from the first whispered sin to the last broken prayer. Each narrator fit their role perfectly: Tristan’s broody tenderness, Isolde’s strength wrapped in vulnerability, and #Daddys commanding growl that made me sit up a little straighter in my seat 👀🤭
The story itself? Secrets upon secrets, tangled in vengeance, love, and lust. It’s dark, it’s messy, and it’s so, mmm so sexy. Just when I thought Sierra couldn’t tempt me any more, she sprinkled in cameos from other characters — like a naughty wink just for her longtime readers.
But the cherry on top? Watching #Daddy finally get that sweet (and very spicy) happy ending. Let’s just say I was grinning, blushing, and maybe fanning myself all at once 😬🔥.
If you want a book that makes you squirm, sigh, and whisper “just one more chapter” at 2 a.m., Bitter Burn is it. Sierra Simone at her sinful, soul-shaking best.
Catherine Cowles strikes again with Chasing Shelter, and I was hooked from the very first whisper of secrets in Sparrow Falls. This one has it all: a broody, protective single dad who’s also the Sheriff, a quietly strong heroine who’s determined to find her way, and just enough suspense to keep your heart racing between kisses and chaos.
Trace and Ellie both carry deep wounds, but together they find something beautifully healing—and totally swoony. The tension is palpable (in more ways than one), and let’s just say, if you like your small-town romance with a side of danger and a splash of forbidden, you’ll devour this.
Omg!! Lolli is still an absolute firecracker🤩. I adore her spunk, her sass, and every scene she steals with her one-liners and wisdom. More Lolli in everything, please.🙏
Jason Clarke and Desiree Ketchum absolutely nail the narration—bringing just the right grit, heart, and heat to the story.
I need to talk about Leah… She surprised the heck out of me—in the best way (took a while though 😅. I wouldn’t be mad if Catherine gave her a novella and a little HEA for her & her new guy🤫.
Now counting down the days until we return to Sparrow Falls…
🦄fave quote🌈 “Chief…” My gaze flicked to Ellie’s face. “Yeah?” “Why are you staring at me like I’m committing atrocities of war right now?” I scrubbed a hand over my stubbled cheek. “To be fair, you are currently committing atrocities against my dishwasher.”
Ellie gaped at me. “I rinsed these thoroughly.”🫣🫣🫣😬

“He’s such a stick-in-the-mud. How about you and I hit up the cowboy bar instead? Save a horse, ride a cowboy?” “Why would you ride a cowboy, Supergran? That seems silly. Or is it like a piggyback ride?” Keely asked innocently. Trace’s scowl morphed into a glare. “Thanks so much, Lolls.” She just laughed. “Just like that, my girl.” Keely looked up at her dad, beaming. “I wanna save a horse and ride a cowboy.” “Dear God, take me now,” Trace muttered…😂🤠
I love love love the OG Elite but the next gen is making just as many moves as their parents. Raven finds herself in a bit of a situation but it’s exactly where she us meant to be. With someone who will lay his life down for her & her choices.
Gah! Is there anything sexier that a loyal yo a fault guy who will do anything to protect you & your family🔥 Ace is every bit that guy. His journey was not an easy one but it made him into the person he was meant to be.
I love anything EE & mafia so this was a freaking treat! Cannot wait for Tempest😈
This one was such a breath of fresh air! The imagery was incredible—every scene felt so real. I loved the age gap and of course the mafia🖤
One of my favorite lines was, ‘Tonight, I feel like playing the hero instead of the villain.’ —I love the person Raffa allowed himself to be with Vera🖤
‘But to me, you are the shooting star that lights up my life.’ 😍😍😍 I’m not sure how to say sawoon in Italian…
I’m a sucker for authentic feeling mafia guys & the Italian phrases throughout the book were perfect! I can’t wait to listen to the audiobook because it’s going to be so yummy!
I was hooked from start to finish and can’t wait for the next book to come out. Highly recommend it!
I’ll be honest with yall…I have an unpopular opinion about SebYo…sorry y’all he’s not my go to so I was a little bummed about this audiobook…fast forward to getting my greedy Catherine loving ears on it & I have to say SEBYO IS COLT! He 110% fits this grumpy, loyal & protective Sheriff!
As always Andi is a doll & made Ridley come to life:)
Now for the story…y’all already know if it’s by Catherine it is going to be super. All the Missing Pieces did not disappoint. I had one character who I was hoping she would NOT pin it on & I am happy to say she did not 😜 I also hope said character gets his own book & HEA 😍
Catherine did keep me guessing & I absolutely did not suspect who did it 🥴
🐈⬛Fave Quotes🎙️
“You’re Ridley Sawyer, taser of douchebags and tamer of ornery brothers. You can do anything.”💪🏻
Mom laughed, some tears leaking out with it. “I cursed getting you girls those glow-in-the-dark stickers. You put them everywhere.” I swallowed down the memories, holding them close. “But now they’ll light her way home.”😭😭
