#playme

Adriana Locke’s Play Me is everything I love in an enemies-to-lovers romance.

Gray Adler’s move to the Nashville Royals puts him right under Astrid’s watch—and their first meeting guarantees sparks (the fiery, not-so-good kind). When Renn Brewer insists Astrid take on the role of Gray’s personal assistant, she suddenly finds herself managing the team’s newest bad boy.

But Gray isn’t just a cocky athlete. Beneath the tattoos and attitude is a man weighed down by a past he hasn’t fully faced. Watching Astrid challenge him, push him, and ultimately see the real him made this story so heartfelt. Their banter had me laughing, and their chemistry was absolutely addictive.

I also adored Astrid’s circle of friends and can already see this Royals series becoming one of my favorites. And I can’t forget Sugar Creek—Gray’s hometown, where his brother and best friend still live. Something tells me we’ll be heading back there soon, and I am so ready for it.

Adriana mixes humor, heat, and heart so seamlessly, and Play Me proves it yet again. I’m already counting down for the next Royals book!

#thesituation

He’s my blueberry pie…sounded better in my head 😜

Tate is such a sweetheart with Aurora—his attention to her (sweet & sexy) and the lengths he goes to make her dreams reality is just so cute. Gah! His moments with MiMi? Precious! Not only does The Situation capture the warmth and sweetness of their relationships perfectly but also the nervousness of taking that leap. It’s super engaging and just right for a chill beach read!

#themerger

“Who’s telling Tate?”… definitely sets the tone for Carys & Gannon’s secret, slow-burn, all the feels relationship. I love the way they get together 😜🔥 But I truly love the way they allow themselves to fall fur each other…although they blew Tate’s mind 😬

Things I 💕
Gannon’s reaction to Carys’ news…um he’s perfect 😘
Chapter 30…because I’m in my feels & it’s super sweet 🥰
Tate’s enthusiasm
Japan 😬

Things I didn’t like🤬
Kent…that is all 😒

🌿Fave quotes😍

I had no idea what to wear to a fucking appointment, but I didn’t want too much fabric to get in the way.😑😬

“You did the right thing.” He brushes my hair off my face so he can see me. “I did the right thing. That’s correct. I married her and built a house for her because it was the right thing to do. But I’ll marry you today and build you a house on the moon tomorrow if that’s what you want because I love you, Carys Johnson.”💕

#theproposal

Re-Read Update:
Going back to “The Proposal” for a second read was just as much fun! I noticed little details and jokes that I missed the first time, especially the playful moments between Renn and Blakely. Their chemistry is even more evident, and it makes their story feel super real.

I also loved revisiting the Brewers and the other families—it felt like hanging out with old friends again. Foxxy’s lines had me laughing just as much, if not more, this time around.
Re-reading really brought out some new layers in the story, so if you loved it the first time, definitely consider giving it another go!

#betweennowandforever

Between Now & Forever is a heartwarming and engaging story that captures the beauty of second chances, new beginnings, and the power of love and resilience. The story follows Gabby, a single mom still healing from the loss of her ex-husband, and Jay, a man wary of relationships after being hurt in the past. Their paths cross when they move in next door to Jay, and despite Jay’s initial reluctance, fate intervenes to bring them together in unexpected ways.

One of the highlights of the story is Gabby’s two sons, Carter and Dylan. Carter, the youngest son, is sweetly naive and brings a sense of innocence and joy to the story. His endearing personality adds a touch of lightness and humor. On the other hand, Dylan, the older son, is struggling with the challenges of being a teenager in a new town and coping with the loss of his father. His journey towards healing and finding his place in the world isn’t an easy one and it takes him a while to ask for help and embrace change.

Addy’s talent for creating relatable characters and genuine relationships shines through in their story. The small-town setting adds an extra layer of warmth and charm to the story, making it even more engaging and heartfelt. The sense of community among the characters creates a backdrop of support and love for Gabby, Jay, and their family.

#theinvitation

The Invitation by Adriana Locke is a fun mix of enemies-to-lovers, fake dating, and family. The banter between Ripley and Georgia is super entertaining😂—they even argue about the weather😜🤭
The fake dating setup, especially with the reality TV show twist, had me hooked from the start…I was wondering how Addy would get them together😬. The confessionals brings out some genuine moments that help clear up misunderstandings and shift their relationship in a new direction.

If you’re into rom-coms with a bit of tension and humor, awesome family and the good guy gets the girl—this one is definitely worth a read!

Bonus…we got a Lincoln Landry & MiMi sighting💕

💜Fave quotes🍑
I might have been wrong to focus on the inconvenience of this setup. Because this? This might just be a hell of a lot of fun. Georgia Hayes is going down. I chuckle. Better keep that visual out of my head.——I love how they each wanted to best each other

“Yes. Absolutely. I’m really looking forward to seeing her again. Sometimes you just click with someone on a different level, and Georgia and I were definitely clicking tonight.” I grin, trying to hide it from the camera. We always click. It’s just usually more like the click of a gun than the click of a connection.—-😂😂😂

Tate leans toward Gannon and points at me. “See that little grin? That cocky wobble? That means fuckery is afoot.”—-it’s the “afoot” for me 😂😂😂

#theArrangement

“The Arrangement” is a heartwarming & captivating. Addy delivers both steamy passion and tender moments. The story revolves around Jason Brewer, an irresistibly handsome alpha who exudes wisdom and protection. Jason’s profound love for Chloe is truly inspiring; he is a man who knows how to cherish and safeguard those he cares about deeply.

Chloe, steadfastly believes she is destined to never find a good guy, has loved Jason since she was younger but never believed that he could love her as well. Though she doesn’t believe in love she is always taking care of Jason🥰

Chloe’s spunky MiMi adds a delightful layer of charm to the narrative. Her vibrant personality and the sweet way Tate hangs out with her inject a sense of warmth and familial love into the story….most of the time lol. Tate & MiMi in the golf cart are wreaking havoc on the neighborhood 😂😂

🛩️fave quotes♥️
“Gannon and Tate, and they were oozing alpha male vibes. The Brewer Trifecta of Power was in there, and concentrating on anything besides them was rather difficult.”
“Well, that explains why half our department milled around all morning instead of logging invoices. They were trying to get a glimpse of The Trifecta.”
I poke at a blueberry. “I will admit, The Trifecta is a bonus of working here. I came for the paycheck. I stay for the view.”—-I’d be first in line 😂

“I know they’ll be okay because they have you. And even though you hate me, rightfully so, I wanted to look you in the eye and tell you how much I respect you, kid. I’ve fucked all the way up. And you slid into my spot and became the man I never was.”—-about the only good thing to come from Reid in a while 🥺

The Marshalls, especially Maggie and Lonnie, are easy to love. I truly love the banter with the kids but their hearts are the absolute biggest & best!

Laina, needing a break from life, returns to her hometown and ends up on her high school sweetheart Luke’s couch. After all this time their connection is still there & they just might get it right this time;) you know what they say…you never forget your first love.

With plenty of laughs, love, and heartfelt moments, this book is a quick, enjoyable read that leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.
